iA adds online services to make it easier to manage group retirement plans

iA Financial Group has added several new online services to its secure group retirement plan advisor and plan sponsor website. The new features are intended to boost user-friendliness and efficiency, allowing clients and partners to “take control over their group retirement plans and get the most out of it,” according to an iA release.

The existing website dashboard provides an “overall and instant view” of the plan, making it easier to manage plan members. To this, iA has added new statistics that are updated daily, allowing advisors and plan sponsors to see asset allocation, monitor the health of the plan, and access information about how plan members are using the website.

The website allows these statistics to be converted into various reports, iA stated. It also provides an online contribution tool that simultaneously synchronizes with the plan member list.

“For an employer, taking control over its retirement plan means not only having access to the diagnostic the statistics can provide regarding the health of the plan, but also being able to act on it based on this diagnostic,” said Renée Laflamme, iA executive vice president of group benefits and retirement solutions. “The new web environment therefore offers employers simple and concrete ways to reach their sound governance goals.”
