iA Financial Group launches online platform for PharmAssist program
iA Financial Group has enhanced its PharmAssist program with a new online platform, which is designed to inform group plan providers and give them tools to simplify the implementation and management of their drug insurance plans.

“Our PharmAssist program allows us to offer tailored and efficient plans that will help companies and their employees face existing challenges in drug management,” said Renée Laflamme, executive vice president for group benefits and retirement solutions. “The launching of this platform highlights our commitment to meeting the high expectations of our clients and offering intelligent and innovative solutions.”

The PharmAssist program was designed to help organizations support their group plans’ financial health and sustainability and allow employees to benefit from continued access to a drug insurance plan.

Through the support offered, plan administrators can receive communiqués and other publications about industry changes, laws, and new products that can impact or improve drug plan performance. They can also get access to actuaries, product developers, and a pharmacist who can help establish and implement an optimum plan.

Plan members also benefit from online mobile and web platforms. The company provides them with access to a drug look-up tool, an electronic claims submission and tracking service, access to support from customer service agents, and other services. They can also benefit from periodically published articles regarding issues that can affect them; a comprehensive prescription drug education program for plan members is also being prepared.

iA Financial Group’s standard drug insurance plans include a drug card, a drug utilization review program, a hospital drug program, and a fraud detection and prevention program, among other offerings.
